FUNERAL FRIDAY - There will be a funeral on Friday, September 29th for Marilyn Vontz at 2:00 p.m. There is a light reception following immediately. Please be mindful of the additional traffic on Friday at pickup. May she rest in peace.
St. Teresa Feast Day!
We will celebrate as a school on Monday, October 2nd.
Some of the events include:

*Kindergarten through 5th grade girls are invited to dress up as St. Teresa--see announcement below for more details.
*Special dress-up day--The students are invited to wear "Sunday clothes" to school (see email and flyer that came home this week)
*Buddy Class tea parties throughout the day
*Other St. Teresa lessons and activities
*Adoration
*Eucharistic procession at 2:30 p.m., followed by Benediction at 3:00 p.m.
Dressing as St. Teresa
Your daughter is invited to dress as St. Teresa! Our St. Teresa Parish Feast Day Mass is Monday, October 2nd at 8:15 a.m. Girls of the parish are invited to dress as St. Teresa for this special celebration. To ensure room in the pews, please text or e-mail Britt Echtenkamp if your daughter(s) will be participating.

Girls will need to arrive in Kaczmarek Hall by 7:45 a.m. They will be a part of the Opening Procession and will sit as a group in the front pews during Mass. Mothers are also needed as parent volunteers to assist with the procession and costumes before Mass. Please contact Britt if you are able to help. Thank you!

Picture Orders and Retakes
- School picture orders are due Tuesday, October 3rd. There will be a $10 late fee for any orders turned in after this date.
- Picture Retake Day is Thursday, October 5th: If your child was absent on school picture day, or if you were not satisfied with their picture, they may have their picture taken again on this day. An order form for the retake pictures will be sent home at a later date.
·K-8th students may wear their picture taking clothes to school but will need to change into their school uniform after their picture is taken.
·PK students will have their picture taken in the morning, even if they are in PK-B.
Pro Life Banquet
The annual Pro Life Banquet and Conference is coming up October 6 and 7. Last spring we had such a good showing in the essay and poster contest of winners from our school! The winners will be honored at this banquet.

Bazaar Raffle Tickets
Saint Teresa Bazaar is Sunday, November 13.
Today your oldest/only Saint Teresa student will be bringing home an envelope which includes a letter from Father Kipper and 3 books of raffle tickets for our Saint Teresa Bazaar and raffle. In order to reach the parish goal, each family is being asked to sell at least these 2-3 books of tickets, for $20 each. You can sell more than that, and there will be additional tickets available in the back of church.
Turn in sold booklets in the collection basket, the school or the rectory mail slot.

MATHCOUNTS 2023-2024
What: A national math enrichment program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement. We will have fun and learn some math! More information can be found on their website:
www.mathcounts.org The problems are challenging, but all are encouraged to participate. No pressure from our team to do anything more than try your best and have fun.
Who: Any interested 6th-8th grade student may participate.
When: Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. beginning October 18, season runs through mid-February
* Schedule will change in January, due to coach conflicts on Wednesday evenings. January/February schedule TBD.

Knights of Columbus Pumpkin Painting
The Knights of Columbus are hosting a pumpkin painting this year on Sunday, October 15 at 2 p.m. at the Knights Hall, 6044 South St.
St. Teresa Parish Bazaar
Families: our annual Parish Bazaar is coming up on November 12 and we need your help with two of the most popular games, Bottle Mania and Spin to Win!
We are requesting that each family please donate $10 worth of small bottled items!
What we need:
-Any SMALLER bottled items (travel sized) Can be silly items, too! Think cheaper, bulk items
- Pop cans or small bottles of pop- all varieties, Gatorade, juice boxes, or any bottled drink
-Individual chip bags, cereal boxes, cookies
-Puddings, pop tarts, hot chocolate, individual donuts packs
...think anything individually wrapped/bottled that kids would love! Be creative!
Please send donations now until Nov. 1th to school with your student, or drop them off in the school office, labeled bazaar.
