The children in the picture above volunteered to shovel. This was completely recreational shoveling for them! They chose to use their recess time for this purpose. Hopefully some of that eagerness to help out can carry over into home! I have been greatly edified by the students' responses to the snow and slush. The teachers as well, have been very good sports about it all. The first day back this week, a teacher on recess duty, exclaimed, "Isn't it nice out here?"
May we learn from the enthusiasm of the children, who find joy (and share it with us), even in the little things.
