Check out what the 4th graders finished just today! They even let Mrs. Sullivan put in the last piece. Several of our Sisters recently finished one of the QR code puzzles, hoping to win big...and discovered they won $1! Still, they definitely found joy in the challenge and the process. (If anyone else makes it big on that puzzle, our school is receiving donations!) Finishing a puzzle is a great accomplishment, and something to celebrate. Our life is sometimes like a puzzle, not yet at the completed stage. Our view has more gaps, incomplete pictures, frustrations, and lack of clarity. Yet, there is still beauty. Even early on in this butterfly puzzle, I found myself coming to look at it, to see the progress, identify the butterflies, contemplate the beauty. I wanted to tell other people about it!
Let us ask the Holy Spirit to transform the way we look at things. He can grant us the gift of Wisdom, to see things as God sees them. He certainly delights in the process and knows the joy of the finished product.
