NEW Tuition Scholarship Opportunity:
High Priority, Short Timeline
Every family please apply! Applications due Oct. 11th. A few bullet points on the issue:
- Nebraska Scholarship Program is new – this is Not OSN (Opportunity Scholarships), but a follow up.
- If you qualified for OSN, YOU ARE GUARENTEED TO GET THIS TOO!
- Even if your tuition balance is now zero, please still apply as this significantly benefits our school.
- If you did not qualify for OSN, you can still apply at the link below. Applicants up to 555% of FPL qualify
- It applies to this year’s tuition
- If you have a surplus balance after this award, we will reimburse your payments made
- The applications must be in by Oct 11 in order for us to be sure we take advantage of the program.
- Funds will be awarded in early Nov, before the election. If this is repealed at the ballot box, the funds need to be in your hands and our hands so the funding can be used and not reclaimed. Please Apply Here: Parent Application Link
- When filling it out, on Step 2 of 4 under ‘Student Information’, please continue down the page to the ‘Next’ button even if you do not check any boxes under ‘Student Information’. (that is only for tier one).
If you file with your spouse, either of you can fill this out. If you file separately, the one who claims children should fill out the application.
You can save and close if you are part way finished.

I encourage you to fill out the Link as soon as possible. During parent teacher conferences October 8th and October 10th we will assist in the application process in the cafeteria for those who need it. Any parent applying or who has applied is welcome to come over for light refreshments. Hope to see you there.

St. Teresa Gear
Fall is right around the corner which means it is time for our annual St. Teresa fleece and sweatshirt order. It is also a good time to check if your child has outgrown his/her fleece or sweatshirt. You can donate sweatshirts and fleece jackets to the office if they have outgrown them. If you want to place an order, the link to the store is Home | ST. TERESA'S (inksoft.com).
The store will be open until midnight on 10/8/24. Please check to see if you are ordering an adult or youth size before ordering. There are a few sizes in the office to try on if you need to check what size would be best for your child. All orders are customized and cannot be returned.
Bazaar News!
Our annual Parish Bazaar is coming up on November 10th and we need your help!
1. Raffle tickets will be going home with the oldest/only students! Each family is asked to sell or purchase 3 books.
2. We are also requesting that each family please donate $10 worth of small bottled/packaged items as prizes for our two most popular games: Bottle Mania and Spin-to-Win!

MathCounts 2024-2025
MathCounts is a national math enrichment program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement and problem-solving skills in a fun manner. Any student in 6th-8th grade can participate in MathCounts. More information can be found on their website: www.mathcounts.org
St. Teresa MathCounts will begin October 9. We will meet after school on Wednesdays, from 3:30 to 5:00. The MathCounts season runs through mid-February.
