A Poem from One of Our Very Own
How about this poem!
Now, maybe it is my maternal heart, but is that not the most beautiful work of art coming from the heart of a ten-year-old boy? They were over in the church for a bit of prayer and reflection, and he saw the new baby there fast asleep. The rest is history, or should I say beautiful openness to inspiration. The author’s line says the rest. Thank you, Lord, for your goodness reflected in Henry and Veronica. (I have to admit, even though there were enough errors in the original to make us think it was his work, I did check to make sure it wasn’t the work of another. I love our kids and generally trust them, but even the best of us are tempted!)

8th Grade Student of the Month
Hanna Nguyen was chosen as student of the month for the month of November for many reasons, include her hard work ethic, her responsibility, and her relationships with others. Hanna relates very well with others, always offering a kind smile and a fun comment. She is an example for all in her class. She has worked hard to be a member of the Honor Roll, showing a virtue of humility in these efforts.
Hanna uses much of her time outside of school helping others as well. She helps pick up trash around the grounds of St. Teresa and volunteers at the thrift shop. She is also a member of the Junior High choir and Honor Choir.
As a member of the St. Teresa volleyball team, Hanna was also able to display her leadership skills. She is also a member of the St. Teresa band, making her a very well-rounded student. When she’s not working on school work or engaging in extra-curriculars, she enjoys spending time with friends or playing video games.
Hanna works hard to be a responsible 8th grade student. She is well deserving of the student of the month for November!

St. Teresa School is in need of one-sided recycled copy paper for use in printing worksheets. No staples or creases, please. Please consider donating your business stationery to us if you change your logo/letterhead.
Pius X Wrestling Club
If you are looking for great mind and body strength building sport for your son while being a part of a supportive family and faith strengthening club, come try Thunderbolt Wrestling Club. Pius X Thunderettes Kiddie Camp
Join us for PXDT Kiddie Camp on February 8, 2025! This exciting camp, open to grades PreK-5th, will be held at Pius X High School (6000 A Street, Lincoln, NE). The day kicks off at 9 a.m. and includes dance routines, games, and a performance for parents at noon. Dancers are welcome to come back for a performance at the Pius X Boys Varsity Basketball Game at 4:30 p.m. Registration is $35 for one camper, $25 for a second, and $15 for additional campers. Heart of a Child Ministries presented on Tuesday, November 12th to our students. They viewed a live ultrasound, heard pro-life testimonies and shared in the beauty of life!
