Letting God use our Voice
In Monday's homily, Father Schleis encouraged us to reflect on the gift of our voice. This was in connection with the feast of St. Blaise, and the blessing of throats. He particularly asked the boys to think about if God is calling them to be a priest. He asked them, "What if God wants to use your voice to turn bread and wine into His Body and Blood? What if he wants to use your voice to take sins away?" You could have heard a pin drop in the church.
The use of our voice is good for all of us to think about. We use our voice in conversation, in public speaking, in reading aloud, in singing... How am I using my voice for God's glory?

K-2 STEM Club
The sign-up is now open for K-2 STEM Club. It will begin Wednesday, March 12th through Wednesday, April 16 from 3:20-4:30 p.m. The limit is 30 students. The club is run by Elizabeth Thiltges, of the UNL 4-H Extension Office. If you, as a parent, would like to volunteer to help with at least one of the Wednesdays, please email sr.mary-michael@cdolinc.net.

Pius X Thunderettes Kiddie Camp
Join us for PXDT Kiddie Camp on February 8, 2025! This exciting camp, open to grades PreK-5th, will be held at Pius X High School (6000 A Street, Lincoln, NE). The day kicks off at 9 a.m. and includes dance routines, games, and a performance for parents at noon. Dancers are welcome to come back for a performance at the Pius X Boys Varsity Basketball Game at 4:30 p.m. Registration is $35 for one camper, $25 for a second, and $15 for additional campers.
