Student of the Month
Congratulations to 8th grader Raquel Castillo-Bolanos, our October Student of the Month!
Raquel is a responsible, poised student who consistently sets a positive example for her classmates. Teachers can always count on her to do the right thing and to lead by example. She completes her homework with care, participates actively in class, and often helps others better understand their work.
A hardworking student, Raquel has earned a place on the Honor Roll. She is also involved in many activities, including playing volleyball, performing in the school band on flute, and serving as an 8th grade reader at our daily school Masses. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her friends.
Raquel’s strong work ethic, kindness, and involvement make her a truly well-rounded Jayhawk. We’re proud to honor her as October’s Student of the Month!
Lost and Found
Lost Sheep? No, but we have found some lost fleeces! If you are missing one, abandoned fleeces will be in front of school on Thursday at dismissal and throughout the afternoon of conferences. We will also put out other lost and found items at that time.

Baskets of the Week!
St Therese Basket: This week we are featuring a basket that has items generously donated by some very talented parishioners and a St Teresa Alum! This basket, named for our patron is overflowing with beautiful and handmade items. Meghan Scdoris has donated two gorgeous framed prints of St Therese. Her Etsy shop, Rooted Art and Design is the home of much more of her talented artwork! Eliese Callahan, has also donated some of her breathtaking creations. A beautiful decade rosary that is made of fluorite semiprecious stone and Czech glass and is designed to look like our very own church’s stained glass windows! The necklace has freshwater pearls, a dried rosebud preserved in resin, and a vintage St. Therese medal. You can find more of her beadwork on Etsy at Vianney Beads. The final item in this basket is a rose sweater that was donated by St Teresa’s School very own alum, Hannah (Schinkel) Beckman, who has a boutique called BeLoved, filled with modest clothing with the purpose to raise your mind, soul and heart to heaven.
Other baskets include...
Cooking Basket: This basket contains a Lenten Cookbook, great for liturgical living and full of recipes that are perfect for the Lenten Season. It also comes with a 4 QT air fryer, a Mother Teresa tea towel and other cooking essentials.
Zoo Basket: Includes 4 entry tickets to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, a stroller fan, and some fun snacks and stuffed animals for a day at the zoo!
