Cross Country
Many members of the team ran on Saturday, October 11th at the JH State Cross Country Meet in the Open Division. Our girls placed 1st in that division, and the boys placed 3rd! Individual standings in the Top 20 included: Elise Suelter (9th), Violet Cunningham (15th), Camilla Rutledge (16th), Estella Heath (19th), Vince Schilmoeller (12th), Max Rutledge (16th).
Jayhawk Shirts
The students' shirts will be coming home today with the oldest/only child. If you ordered a youth xs for your child, you will be receiving a youth s instead. The shirt we ordered did not come in an xs size.
If you are a parent who ordered a shirt and have paid, your shirt is coming home with your oldest/only child today.
If you are a parent who ordered one and have not had a chance to pay yet, your shirt is ready for you in the office once payment is received.

Thunderbolt Wrestling Club
Looking for a sport that builds strength, discipline, and faith?
Join Thunderbolt Wrestling Club — a supportive, family-centered team where boys and girls grow on and off the mat.
When: Preseason practices start November 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

St. Teresa Parish Bazaar Silent Auction
We are accepting donations of NEW or handmade items and unused gift cards for our silent auction at the annual Fall Bazaar. No used items please. We also have specific items we are looking to add to some larger basket items. Baskets of the Week!
Relaxation Basket: Featuring three, 60-minute massages donated by Madonna Rehab Hospital ($215 value), a heated blanket, donated by a St Teresa’s parishioner, a candle and a candle warmer, also donated by a St Teresa’s parishioner!
Wine Lovers Basket: Featuring a bottle of wine donated by Moran’s Liquor Works, a cute wine rack, and a wine tasting for two plus a wine and cheese basket donated by James Arthur Vineyards and From Nebraska Gift Shop
Tennis Basket: This fun basket, donated by a St Teresa’s parishioner, includes a private lesson at Woods Tennis Center! It also has an adorable tennis water bottle, tennis balls and a Wilson racquet! This would make a great gift for a current tennis player or someone who wants to start their tennis career!
Christmas Boutique Volunteers
We are in need of volunteers to help with the annual Christmas Boutique at the St. Teresa Thrift Shop. We need an influx of parishioners and school families to help us set-up and work the boutique, October 20th-25th. The sign-up link is here.
Pius Players
Tickets are on sale now for the Pius Players production of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' with four shows Oct. 16-19. These family-friendly shows are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 pm, and Sunday at 1:30 pm. Shows are at Lincoln Southwest High School (due to construction at Pius X). Tickets are $11 for adults and $8 for students and are on sale now at PiusX.net/store.
MathCounts
St. Teresa MathCounts will start up again in October for any 6th-8th grade students that want to participate. MathCounts is a national math enrichment program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement. More information can be found on their website: www.mathcounts.org. We will meet at St. Teresa School on Wednesdays from 3:30pm-5:00pm. The first practice will be October 15. The season runs through mid-February, when the students compete in a competition against other schools in the area.

Bazaar Prize Donations
Our annual Parish Bazaar is coming up on November 9th and we need your
help with prizes for two of the most popular games, Bottle Mania and Spin-to-Win!
We are requesting that each family please donate $10 worth of small bottled/packaged items!
Canned pop, Small bags of chips, Pop-tarts, 21oz bottled pop, Travel-sized cereal boxes, Hot chocolate packages, Gatorade/sports drinks, Individual packages of cookies, Hostess/Little Debbie snacks, Juice boxes, Pudding snack packs, and more!
***We are also accepting donations of stuffed animals that are in new or excellent used condition***
Please send donations now until November 1st to school with your student or drop them off in the school office, labeled ‘bazaar.’

Remember to sell your raffle tickets! Each family is expected to sell 2-3 books of tickets. See instructions on the packet of tickets that came home.

CK Sisters Outdoor Fall Workday
Saturday, October 18, 1:30-4:30 pm
We will be mulching, cleaning up our vegetable garden and cutting trees. Helpful items to bring include shovels, work gloves, wheelbarrows, pickups and chainsaws. Children are also welcome – and can use this for service hours! Mark your calendars now and contact Sister Mary Angela at sr.mary-angela@cdolinc.net if you would like to come and help. Please also print and complete a LIABILITY FORM (one per adult; children added to adult form.) Villa Regina Motherhouse, 4100 SW 56th St., about 2 miles west and south of Pioneers Park. Walk-ins are also welcome.
