Student of the Month
Please join us in congratulating Camilla Rutledge, our Student of the Month for March! Camilla was chosen for many reasons, including her strong work ethic and her sense of responsibility. Camilla is a kind friend to everyone she meets and a great example for all in her class.
As president of the Student Council, Camilla displays her strong leadership skills. She is a reader at daily Mass, plays flute in the school band, and is a member of the Junior High choir. Camilla actively participates in Page One, volleyball, cross-country, and track, and has been awarded multiple top honors in cross-country. With responsibility being a strong quality, she balances all of these activities with her studies and always gives 100% in everything she does.
Camilla uses much of her time outside of school helping others. She frequently babysits, rakes leaves, and shovels the sidewalks for her neighbors.
In her free time, Camilla loves running! She completed a half marathon in November and plans to run another one in May. She loves spending time outside, reading, and enjoying time with friends and family.
Camilla exemplifies the spirit of a true Jayhawk, and we are proud to present her as our Student of the Month.

Cristo Rey Families
For tuition for the 2026-2027 school year, and hopefully following years, Cristo Rey families will be eligible for the same income-based scholarships that St. Teresa families are eligible for. A benefactor has bridged that gap, please share the news with other families that might be interested in our school. Catholic Education is more affordable than ever....for every family. 1/4 of our families pay $440 per year per child in tuition.

The Scale and Structure of the Cosmos
Nathaniel Cunningham will enlighten participants on how astronomers have figured out "How far away are things?" from the moon, Sun, and planets, to the most distant galaxies. It is a fascinating story, with many layers! And how do scientists get a sense of what things are made of, when they can't actually get them (or bits of them) into the lab to measure directly?
March 19th, 7:00 p.m., at the Weslyan Planetarium. Please RSVP to Jean Timmerman: jean-timmerman@cdolinc.net
Walk the Little Way Fundraiser

We are looking for 2-3 more volunteer judges to listen to and score student presentations. Some level of scientific background/experience is appreciated.
