Thursday, May 21, starting at 12:30 after the students enjoy a hotdog cookout outside. Picnic lunch is 11:30 K/1, 11:40 2nd/3rd, 11:50 4/5, and 12:00 6/7. After eating, students can play lawn games, chalk, line dancing. Olympic Games begin around 12:30. It is such a fun event for all the students. The students will participate in a number of games and activities with their classmates. There is also face painting, bomb pops, music, and much more.
***Please note: The weather looks a little chilly for tomorrow and we will be outside all afternoon (weather permitting), so we recommend pants and a light jacket or sweatshirt. Many of the games involve water so make sure your child is prepared for the wet/cool weather. We will move activities inside as needed.

Student of the Month
Congratulations to Lucia Scdoris, chosen as our eighth grade Student of the Month for May! As a new student this school year, Lucia quickly acclimated. She demonstrates organization, responsibility, and a contagiously positive demeanor on a daily basis.
Lucia cares deeply about her education and gives her time and effort in many ways. She works hard in school and is a member of Honor Roll. Lucia plays volleyball, basketball, and soccer and competes on swim team. When she is not busy with her schoolwork or her extra-curriculars, Lucia enjoys reading, drawing, painting, crocheting, making cards and jewelry, and spending time with her dog, Dexter. She also plays piano, guitar, and ukulele.
Lucia has a great work ethic and is friendly to all her classmates and teachers. She is a true Jayhawk and deserves this Student of the Month recognition!

Summer Scrip
Scrip is available for purchase over the summer, but please note that times to receive orders could be delayed. Due to the high cost of shipping, special orders will only be placed about once a month. Plan ahead for physical giftcard needs or feel free to use the "ship to home" option where available. In-stock inventory may still be available the next day. Electronic Scrip giftcards are still ready within minutes and a great way to keep earning rebates over the break!
Over the summer, paper Scrip order forms can be dropped off at the Rectory, and orders will typically be ready for pick during open Rectory hours the next business day. If you need to pick up outside of business hours, please contact Kimberly Wilson at 720.372.3397 to make arrangements. The most up to date forms can be found at

Have a wonderful summer!

Corpus Christi Procession
June 7th, following the 8AM Mass
All are invited to join us in this annual parish tradition as we process with the Blessed Sacrament from St. Teresa Church to the Pink Sisters' Chapel. We do this to praise and honor Jesus, truly with us in the Eucharist.
Altar servers are invited to serve at Mass and then join the procession.
First Communicants may wear their sacramental attire (with comfortable walking shoes), sit with parents during Mass, and join the procession. First Communicants will walk behind the altar servers. Rose petals will be available for your child to shower along the way. You may also bring your own flower petals from home.
Fifth through twelfth grade girls are welcome to be part of the Honor Guard. Please contact Julie Noack (402-325-9195) to reserve a robe and for more details.

“Is My Child Ready for Tackle Football?” Jr Bolts Informational Meeting & Work-out
We’re hosting a “come and see” event for families who are undecided about tackle football. While we believe football has never been safer, the decision of when to start tackle football varies from family to family. During this one hour event, players will participate in some fun non-contact drills (including tackling dummies), while parents can ask questions and learn more about the program. This is a great opportunity for families who are on the fence and who have not registered for Jr Bolts Football.
- Wednesday, July 8
- 5–6pm
- Aldrich Field
For more information please contact Jr Bolts President Taylor Ashburn at jrboltsfootball@gmail.com
