Congratulations to Amelia Davis, our 8th Grade Student of the Month for October! Amelia is a joyful student with a positive mindset. She is welcoming and inclusive to her classmates, consistently going out of her way to provide a helping hand to others.
A well-rounded student, Amelia is involved in many extra-curricular activities. She loves playing on the St. Teresa girls' volleyball team, singing in Junior High choir and performing in the school band. She is also a reader at daily school Masses.
Amelia has volunteered regularly from a young age, primarily with the Great Plains Gaming Project, a nonprofit focused on bringing people together through board games. She helps at events throughout the year and at the annual Great Plains Game Festival, where she has worked in many different areas. A big cat lover, Amelia volunteers at The Cat House, where she helps with cleaning rooms, feeding and socializing the cats. She also volunteers within St. Teresa parish, assisting with serving rolls and coffee at gatherings after weekend Masses.
Outside of school, Amelia enjoys many hobbies. She is an avid reader and loves creative projects, including diamond art, needle crafts and other hands-on activities. She enjoys both board games and video games.
It is an honor to recognize Amelia as our Student of the Month!
